Ready…Set…Here We Go!

Dear Amazing Women,

“Change of any sort requires courage” ~ Maryanne Radmacher.  Courage can be defined as: mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.   I remember reading those words after I made a couple major life-changing decisions and choices.  I had no idea what I was about to face when I made those necessary decisions.

We all have choices with how we will weather when a storm comes. Will we have the courage to make it through, to be safe on the other side?  Or, will we let the storm take us out?  I had some pretty eye opening experiences and was faced with making some tough choices.  As I was going through my own transitions, I noticed that others were facing and dealing with similar circumstances.  Although relieved to find out I was not an isolated situation, I began to think about all of the other life transitions people face. I wondered how people successfully make it through, with a positive outlook on life and changed for the better. Some of the situations and transitions people shared with me stopped me in my tracks. Between what I heard and what I personally experienced, something inside me ignited.

I remember the very afternoon in my living room when it all came to me.  Little did I know that my plan that Friday night to eat Chinese take-out and listen to one of my favorite inspirational speakers would end up in about 11 hours of ideas, planning, creating, website domain purchases, tears and excitement! I had moved from the couch to my living room floor with notebooks, my journals, books and my laptop spread out.  I knew that I knew I was supposed to assist others in getting through their life transitions.

Growth and transformation happens DURING the process and as a result of the journey one takes. So, assisting with, not removing, the journey is what my heart was yearning to do for all the women out there who were experiencing difficult situations.  I fully understand total transformation happens when we walk through a challenge and come out refined and shining when all is said and done.

I also know very well that “A Ship in a safe harbor is safe, but that’s not what a ship is built for” ~ William Shedd.  Just as a ship, because it’s lighter than water, is very vulnerable to wind, waves, and rocks, it can withstand these elements and move wherever they (and the crew) choose to go.  They are built to split the waves and brave the weather…to go the distance!

Welcome to the Global Association for Women in Transformation, where we provide practical and progressive solutions to navigate through life’s transitions! As women, we can experience so many transitions.  We are created as strong beings but can be quite vulnerable at times in the midst of harsh elements. But, please know, you are not alone. We are here to journey with you to Total Transformation. You CAN go the distance and thrive in spite of ANY storm or transition.

Supporting you every step of the way,

Michele ~ CEO, Speaker, Author
